Long summer days, the shimmer of light in the marine air – the serene beauty of Lopez Island and its close-knit community have beckoned artists for decades. The parent group of the Lopez Artist Guild was first recognized as a non-profit organization by the State of Washington in 1924.

The purpose of the nearly 100-member Guild is to foster and promote the Fine Arts on Lopez and to provide educational opportunities in the Arts to its members and to the Lopez community.

We welcome you to join in our first-ever Lopez Island Arts Fest, a celebration of all the arts flourishing on this special island.

GALA AUCTION:

Proceeds from the Gala Auction are distributed as follows:

From the gross art sales, 45% of the sale price of each artwork goes
to the artist.

The net profits of the auction will be distributed to four groups:

45% to the Lopez Center for Community and the Arts for needed improvements
25% to the art programs of Lopez School
25% to the Lopez Artist Guild
5% to the Salmon Reclamation Project
